Privacy
What we keep, who processes it for us, and how to have it deleted.
What we keep
- Your email address: to sign you in, to send your receipt, and to send the weekly study. The weekly study email has a one-click unsubscribe link. Any other addresses you add to your account are kept too, so a purchase made with one of them opens your account.
- Your purchase: through Stripe. We never see or store your card. Stripe keeps the payment details and tells us what was bought and when.
- Sign-in records: when you sign in, and the access your coding agent is given through the library’s sign-in, so we can keep your account safe.
- Kit downloads: when your agent downloads the kit, which version, the internet (IP) address it came from and the software that asked, for the same reason.
- Your free study: on a free account, which study you opened each week.
- Support messages you send us.
- How the site is used: pages visited, buttons pressed, errors the site runs into and recordings of how pages are scrolled and clicked, through PostHog, so we can see what helps, what confuses and what breaks. Recordings never keep what you type, and email addresses are hidden. Once you sign in, this (with your earlier visits on that browser) and whether a purchase went through, its plan and its price are filed under a scrambled (hashed) account number, never your name or email.
- How your agent uses the library: for each call, which library tool, when, how long it took, whether it worked, the name of the agent app, and the short labels it passed, such as the kind of business, what it sells, the funnel step or the study it opened. It’s filed under a scrambled (hashed) account number, not your name or email. We never record your files, your pages or your plain-words searches.
What stays on your computer
The kit runs in your project, on your computer, through your coding agent. What your agent reads and writes there (your site, your offer, your customers’ words, the pages it builds) goes between your computer and your agent’s provider, such as Anthropic or OpenAI, under their terms. It doesn’t come to us. We don’t store what your agent asks the library, beyond the record above.
If you connect an image service, your key is saved on your computer, outside your project, and the pictures are made between your computer and that service. We never see the key. If you share a funnel, the kit puts it on your own Netlify or Vercel account, not ours.
Ads and cookies
We use Meta's pixel to measure our ads and to show our ads to people who have visited. They set cookies and tell Meta which of our pages you visited and whether you signed up or bought. Meta also hears about a sign-up, a checkout or a purchase from our server, with your email address scrambled (hashed) first, plus the internet (IP) address and browser it came from and Meta’s own cookie ids, so its count matches ours. For a purchase, those details are kept with the checkout at Stripe. We don’t sell your data.
If you’re in Europe, the UK or Switzerland, none of this runs until you press Accept. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control, we don’t load Meta's pixel at all. To change your choice, clear this site’s cookies and choose again. Meta and Google also let you turn off ads based on sites you visit, in their ad settings.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase: your account and the database.
- Stripe: payments.
- Resend: email.
- Vercel: hosting, and the request logs that come with it.
- PostHog: how the site and the library are used.
- Meta: measuring and showing our ads.
Your coding agent’s provider, your host and any image service you connect work for you, not for us: their own terms and privacy policies apply.
People and businesses in the library
The library shows marketing that businesses published or sent: their ads, pages and emails. We collect emails by signing up with inboxes we control, never with anyone else’s address. If you appear in the library, or something personal shows in it, write to help@boringfunnels.com with the page and we’ll correct or remove it, replying within two working days. What to send.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. Purchase records stay as long as the law requires for tax, and to answer a refund or a payment dispute. Ask to be deleted from Account → Settings. We do it by hand, and delete your sign-in account, your addresses, your download history and your place on the email list. The purchase record stays, for the reasons above.
