Keystone Roofing

This week's deep dive

Where every roofer offers a free inspection, the one who answers wins.

Keystone Roofing, a sample Kansas City roofer, gets 60 to 80 leads a month and closes about 1 in 6. We played the owner in a test run and typed why into the agent as one prompt: slow callbacks, and nobody follows up after an estimate. Pro read the local market, found the promise the three Kansas City roofers it read leave open, and built the funnel around it: book in a minute, a text back in a minute, and an estimate that explains itself.

Steal these three

Move 1 · the open groundFind the open ground before the headline.

Every Kansas City roofer site it read (RN Roofing, Easton, Century) promises a free inspection, local roots and GAF. Nobody commits to a reply time, and nobody follows up after the estimate. The headline took the open ground: "in one minute. No waiting for a callback."

Move 2 · the replyMake the reply the offer.

Three short booking steps, a text back within a minute, the estimator confirms the same day. The forum's pain ("about 1/2 dozen calls to contractors to get 1 returned call") is answered on the first screen.

Move 3 · the estimateFollow the estimate, not just the lead.

The owner's leak was after the estimate, so the funnel keeps going past it: "Your estimate, explained" (every line of the price, five questions to ask every roofer, the warranty, insurance, ways to pay) and seven texts and emails over three weeks.
